Thank you for having me! Really excited about my new Mazda3;first new car I've owned (leased) since 1981;third Mazda that I've had. Really terrific to get much more than I expected.
It will be awhile before I need replacement parts, but I've noticed that the large parts houses (such as Advance Auto Parts,Carid,Tire Rack, etc.) do not stock parts (such as brake pads) for the Mexico-built 2016 Mazda3;Japan-built only. I suspect this will eventually change.
I've learned a lot from this forum already, especially about the required motor oil. Oddly the owner's manual is not very comprehensive;says nothing about using synthetic oil in the Mazda3. This forum will be my key adviser;I'm coming up 70,and I'll need all the help I can get! With today's vehicles,my do-it-yourselfer days are over.
Take care, and I'll be talkin' to ya'.
