Hi All,

New owner of a Mazda Hatch in Polymetal Grey here. I read somewhere that Mazda upgraded the suspension and handling in the 2021 Model since they introduced the turbo version. I also read that they decided to include the Regular 2.5L models with the suspension improvements. Can anyone confirm?

For 2021 spring rates have been changed and dampers improved a bit to make the suspension work better.

There was a change to the steering arm even on non-turbo models, and turbo models also have slightly stiffer front springs to offset the weight of the turbo, and modifications to the GVC system...

"The chassis and suspension of the Mazda3 Turbo are nearly untouched. The front springs have a higher spring rate to accommodate the engine's extra weight, but only for the purposes of matching the naturally aspirated model. Mazda also added a stiffer steering arm for better feel, but that change was applied to regular models, too. The G-Vectoring Control system, which very slightly reduces power at turn in to shift weight to the front/steering wheels, has been tweaked be more aggressive in Sport mode."
