New 2017 3S GT purchase

I just recently purchased a 2017 3 S Grand Touring Sedan with Premium Equipment Package and i-Active Safety Package. Traded in my 2014 3 S Touring. If anyone is interested here are a few things I notice that are different in 3 years time.
-- Driver seat considerably more comfortable than 2014 driver seat. The real leather seat cushions just feel better overall and the bolstering is better
-- Love the new center console
-- The brown accent color is more subtle than what I have seen in pictures.
-- The full color HUD is considerable improvement over the green HUD - more information available when used with NAV
-- The gas pedal feels much lighter than the 2014. Don't know if anyone else felt like the earlier gas pedals had excessive resistance but the 2017 feels easier to push.
-- Steering feels a little lighter also - less effort at low speeds
-- Really like the LED headlights. Much brighter than the HID in the 2014.
-- Overall driving feel is about the same. I don't feel the G-Vectoring feature but then again I have pushed the car too hard yet.
-- Infotainment appears to respond faster, maybe a hardware improvement? Don't know how to verify. Version 59.00.033 installed
-- MOST Important - to me - Mazda finally included door storage. I missed that the whole time I drove my 2014.
-- Bluetooth pairing of my phone seemed faster also.

-- BOSE stereo - decent for what it is but no audible difference over 2014
-- I still use iPOD classic for music so the placement of USB hookups at front center console and exposed is a disappointment. In time I will find a way to hide the iPOD.
-- Wish there was mechanical cooling of the seats but am hoping the perforated leather will help better during the summer vs the leatherette in the 2014

You could always hide it in a sunglass case!

Just got my 2017 Speed last January, the 12v cigarette port and USB are tucked behind the center console. Since I had to install a tire press monitoring system via 12v outlet which I need to see asbut is plugged there, I had to buy an extension for the USB and 12 volt cig lighter.

MY guess is the number of miles we put on cars or the amount of time spent on our freeways. In Phoenix, on the freeways, it's quite common to get rock chips from pebbles on the road or flinging out of tires rotating at high speed.

I'm with you on this one. I live in Canada, drive nearly 100 km to work each way, and I've got nearly 70k kms on my 3. Yes I get a few stone chips like any other car. I don't find this car any worse than others. What few I have I use touch up paint I got off Amazon. It matches perfectly. So I spent far less and my car looks better. Sorry, but I really notice the clear bra.

In short, I don't get it.

Instead of stone chips in paint, with a clear bra, wouldn't one end up with stone chips in the bra instead? And that wouldn't look great either! And it won't touch up, so to fix that, one would need to replace this enormous sticker, that then might peel the paint underneath? I dunno, I never had one.

I don't do bras,...bra!

Most clear bras are self healing or require a little bit of heat to soften the material and it corrects itself. You don't typically damage the clear bra unless a rock hits you so hard that it damages it all the way through to the paint. I had one for three years on my last 3 and it was flawless. I even had an abrasion repaired by the people who installed it. All they did was use a heat gun to massage the abrasion away.

Ultimately, if you don't want to spend the money, you don't have to. I prefer not to be applying little drops of paint to a car less than year old let alone 3 years.
