Noob question... Sorry....Considering lowering my M3 with an Eibach Pro Kit. What can I expect from this? Is the ride noticeably changed? Rougher? Is there a better system for a smother ride? How will this effect warranty? Obviously is looks SO much better lowered. Once car is lowered, is there a constant fear of bottoming out?

Thanks for any input!

So, the eibach is stiffer. At first you'll feel things jiggling that you never felt before. But it will break in over time, and as long as you don't combine it with low profile tires it will be fine. You will have a lower front bumper so no more pulling up to the tire on curbs if you add a lip in the front you will hit. But bottoming out will happen very little unless you get a body kit or tie bars for the lower a arms.

That's the kind of answer I was looking for. Thank you. The stiff part is my concern. It's already pretty rough over road imperfections. I see you have the exact same car as I do. Have you lowered yours? Does the stiffness completely resolve itself over time? Won't hold you to your answers.
