No, I'm trying to create a new SD card with files sourced from an original card prior to it being VIN locked. I've used these same files before on a different car and worked flawlessly, but having trouble now for some reason.

I am new member of this forum. I bought a Mazda Axela 2014 Firmware 55.00.650 JP M. I got Japanese navi SD card. I need to convert language from Japanese to English along with New Zealand map.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciable.

The software seems to be available here and there, but I can neither attest to the trustworthiness of the sources, nor whether it still works on modern operating systems. Linux has the equivalent assort command. There also appear to be other apps working by the same principle, like Drive Sort and YAFS .I have not tested these either.

Thanks for your reply. today I am trying to upgrade firmware from 55.00.650 JP M to ADR 70.00.100. When I press Music+Favourite+Volume mute button together, nothing appear on screen. Please advice me how to go to test screen.

Radio frequencies are different in certain countries (like JP and NZ). Radio frequencies are stored in the TAU (Tuner and Amplifier Unit). To have no issue with the frequencies, you need a correct TAU for your country and equipment - so you need to replace the TAU. Easiest (and legal) way: Install the Mazda Toolbox Software, register and buy a map update.
It is not possibile to simply copy new map content over to your sd card - this does not work, as it is secured with a license file which has to allow the usage of the new content.

Actually it's funny! in this age that every simple mobile phone has tens of navigation applications which their map is updated every second and live traffic information as well, all for free, we have to pay almost $300 per year just for one update for one damn year!!!
I bought a CX-5 2016 for $25000. it was imported from japan so the firmware was Japanese i paid $300 to update the firmware and dashboard language and $150 for a new sd card which was fake.
this is not easy at all my friend and definitely it's not legal this is ransom.

Yeah, that`s not user friendly, I confirm. At the mobile apps you usually do not pay with money, but with your data.
