Hi All.

I would like to ask if anyone can advise of the file structure for the SD card based in New Zealand. I have a 2015 Mazda 3 with I think a corrupted SD card. I might be able to do a recovery of missing files and would like to know what to look for.
Also if I have a missing file is it something that could be provided in a zip file to my email? Would be good if I can resolve this as my local dealer is unable to and therefore my maps do not work.

Many thanks for coming back to me on this.
I have collected the car from the dealer who has not been able to help. So I have just gone through and done some of my own things which was Data Recovery and managed to recover some files. Once I had everything I scanned the SD card to fix the errors that I had. I have just tried the card again as well as a back-up copy and neither have worked. I am not sure what is missing and why the card is not being recognised. The link you provided was great however this was for Europe and mine is NZ (New Zealand) and is a 2015 model.
Not sure what else can be done here. The last update that I did have successfully was by the dealer on the last service which I noticed some files would correspond to this being Nov 2019.
Perhaps I have some files that should not be there and should be removed but I am unsure on this and also some of the files are only 2KB in size with some being 0KB.
Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks for the info.
What should I do after downloading all the files?
Should I unzip all the files cardbotused_v2.rar to the rrot of SD card?
Then copy the necessary map directory into the root?

I have a Mazda 3 from 2015 and i want to use my navigation system but the sd card is broken. The computer no longer recognizes ; neither in windows or linux


My firmware version is 70.00.100 EU N .
After i get navigation maps is there a way to make the sd card workable on a new sd card?

Disculpe, no sé si este es el foro correcto para mi pregunta, tengo la versión 70.00.100 NA, descargué los mapas de HiDrive pero no funcionó, tenemos que hacer algo más al respecto. Use la versión BHP166EZ1H_HMNA2016Q4. No sé si es un problema porque no es la versión correcta o si hay algo más que hacer.

Excuse me, I do not know if it is the correct forum for my question, I have version 70.00.100 NA, download the HiDrive maps but it did not work, we have to do something more about it. Use version BHP166EZ1H_HMNA2016Q4. I don't know if it is a problem because it is not the correct version or if there is something else to do.

Oh boy. Also from New Zealand and have pretty much the same issue. I only got my 2014 Mazda 3 today and have been trying to gather as much as info as possible but I could also use some help from a kind soul. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I too am interested in updating my EU maps, and if possible upgrade to 16GB card. I tried searching the forums but it seems there are no recent instructions. Can anyone provide some useful info? I recently updated CMU to the latest EU version .367A.

I was hoping you'd be able to help me with my 2018 BN-series Mazda 3. It's running 70.0.0.335 firmware. I can create the card (following proper procedure), but the Mazda3 tries to load the maps and then displays Invalid SD.
The cardnotused and .sgn file get deleted, so I'm assuming the car is trying to link with the card?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, someone help me, the cards that they sold here in Mexico can no longer be updated, they appear in mazda toolbox that they have been in a fraud something like this, how can I update the maps without a toolbox? it's possible?.

@Gusbar It's not possible. You can receive map updates only via Mazda Toolbox
