I've been pondering this for a bit and am wondering if the MX5 skyactive is similar enough to the 2.0 in our 3 that parts can swap?
If anyone's got any info lemme know could be a cheaper way to get more power?

The ND2 engine is totally different from the Mazda 3 engine. Other than its 2.0L displacement they have little in common....
Chances are you could use parts from one on the other but it certainly would not be a "cheaper" solution as it would entail sourcing the parts -$$$$$- installing them - more $$$$$$- getting the ECU tuned so the car will run with the new parts - more $$$$$- ........
