Hey guys, im looking to toss a new muffler on my Mazda 3 sport 2L, nothing super loud, just wanna be able to hear it a little :D. My only worry is that when im going down the highway, sitting at 3500 to 4500 rpm, that its going to be so loud itll drown out my stereo. Any of you have any of experience with this? Is it bad?

Came from RacingBeat, tried the HKS...Couldn't take the drone. Now, back on RB...Sweeter, the 2nd swing.

I tossed a used MS3 exhaust on mine, but also was fortunate to get a dual outlet bumper swap after being rear ended.. Not a bad sound!

I Will say I slowly removed the exhaust sections at a time.
2.0L ...Started with Cat-back from Corksport and you can still hear the stereo at the drone rpm (3-4,000)
I went and removed it all , OEM headers , both oem ceramic cats (in oem header and other at mid pipe) and replaced it with a highflow cat.
Its loud now.... but easily controllable. keep the shifts below 4000 and it purrrrs and pops.
But for me my exhaust is my stereo .
