Recently purchased a 2014 silver hatchback touring that is practically stock aside from the window tint. Being new to the mazda world, I would appreciate any mod ideas that anyone has! :smile2:

What's your budget to start off? That is usually the biggest factor to determine mods.

Many of us here have an ever expanding rolling type budget from year to year. Ha!
Last year I did a lot of cosmetic mods. This year seems to be more performance based.

Thanks for the link! I will be spending much time going through that thread haha. As far as my budget is concerned, it is fairly limited. I am trying to stick to low-cost mods. I already have plans to transfer the interior footwell lights from my old civic, and dipping some of the chrome has crossed my mind as well, however I'm not sure if I am a big fan of that.

Most of my mods will probably remain cosmetic as I have no intentions of trying to get my car to perform any better than it already does *at the moment* (compared to my old 100 hp civic, it drives much faster, haha!) :laugh2:

I'm excited to be a part of this forum, I've never actually been active in one, so I'm still figuring out where to post about certain things. And thanks for the link! Those accessories are definitely part of what I'm looking for as well. I'm not sure where to post updates, but I'll make sure to figure that out when the time comes, haha!

Nice ride! The window tint will really sweeten the deal as well. Did you buy your wheels that color or did you paint them yourself? I like the look of the original wheels on my car but I was thinking of painting them a graphite color, possibly black but still in debate. Any interior mods?

I had the wheels painted a brown/bronze, the dark gunmetal is just plastidip.
As for the interior, nothing done yet, looking to put in better speakers in pretty quick and wrap the piano black pieces.

I'm also looking into a few more Corksport goodies as well. My car just clocked 100,000km the other day and i'm out of warranty now, so wife say's it's free game lol
