Noticed some minor scratches on hood. Not sure if something I did or came from dealer like that. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to hide them?

drag your nails over it, if your fingernail gets stuck in it, you'll need it painted, otherwise it can be buffed out.

How deep are they? If they're shallow, you might be able to Claybar them smooth and rewax it. If they're deep, you might have to go to a shop and have it repainted. Post up some pics.
If it is a scratch a claybar won't do anything but fill them. The best thing to do would be to polish them out. All cars that come from a dealer are going to have some swirls and light scratches because they wash them incorrectly. Even Ferrari has issues with this. If the scratches are light try a light polish using a Dual Action Rotary. Heavier scratches require more aggressive polish, such as Menzerna FG400. You should not need to repaint a car until the clear coat fails or the scratch is through the clear coat, such as the finger nail test is helpful. Sorry I am a detailing nut.
