I do daily my car. Lol. 6 out of the 7 days. My mud flaps drag too. Mainly over bumps or into parking lots which is another reason why I wanna get rid of them. Lol.

Crazy thing is, I wanna go lower than I am now. Haha. Gonna chop some dead coils off the Teins for now until I pick up a set of coils...or bags.

If you go bags that would be awesome. I thought about going bags but im planning on getting a miata soon. So this car may just sit like how it is now. lol I do wanna get aftermarket seats for this car though but not sure if I wanna pull the trigger yet lol

Quick update, will be installing a speed3 wing once I get all the parts. Also got some wheels at a super cheap price, they are reps though but couldnt pass them up. Will get pictures of everything once it all gets here.

Ain’t nothing wrong with reps bro. Lol. If the roads here were nicer, I’d run real Kiwamis. Hahaha. Really want a set of CR2P or the Kranze Bazreias, but I have a lot of friends who stayed true to running real wheels only to get them dinged, scratched & bent thanks to the shitty roads here on Oahu.

Looking forward to seeing what wheels you got & that speed wing. I’m waiting to pull the trigger on getting a GV wing. Just can’t find myself spending that much on a wing just yet ($180 + $133 shipping to Hawaii )

Yeah the roads in San Francisco are pretty bad potholes everywhere, just gotta be careful with the reps haha. My RPF1 have been holding up pretty well so far.

I thought about the GV wing as well, but got the speed3 wing for a decent price so pulled the trigger for it. Just got the wheels today, just need to get tires and they should be good to go. Going 17x8 +35 probably gonna go 225/45/17. Also attached some pictures of the wing and wheels.

Those rims look fiyah my dude. Can’t wait to see em on the car.

The fact that you have an 1.5” narrow rim than mine & running a wider tire than me is making me question myself. Only because I’m looking for wider rims for the rear now & will probably slap the ones I have on now on to my wife’s 3. Hah.

Keep the thread updated bro.

Alright so I finally had time to get the speed3 spoiler in. Let me say it is an easy job but it took longer then I had expected mainly because I did not have the right tools so I had to go and grab some.

What you'll need is a 10mm deep socket a drill for the 3rd brake light and thats basically it lol. I did not have a 10mm deep socket so had to grab one. Removal of the old spoiler was fairly easy 4 bolts. Pulling it out of the car took the most time as I was afraid of breaking it. Installing was fairly easy as well except there was a small rubber piece that had to be removed and I did not have the hole saw so I used my drill bits and made a pretty janky hole. Overall I enjoy the new spoiler looks amazing just need to wire up the 3rd brake light but for now using my current one lol

Next will be to get the wheels on haha

Finally had a chance to get the wheels mounted and balanced. Took awhile because the original tires I wanted went outta stock and had to reorder them. Took them about a week to get shipped. But finally after a month they are ready to go onto the car. Recently heard some popping sounds coming from the rear of the car, most likely the rear endlinks or sway bar is loose or went bad. Hopefully just needs to be tighten down will check them in the next few days. In any case this weekend the new wheels will go on.

Soooo today I had time to see what the popping/clunking noise was coming from. I bought moog endlinks and was able to replace my current oem endlinks with them. Drove around and still the sound was still there. Luckily I had my finacee drive my car for a few blocks as I sat in the backseat and was able to pinpoint the sound right away. It was coming from my rear right wheel area. So I pulled the tire off and what do you know, the ring on my bc strut was loose....so I tightened it up and the sound is now gone....lol Hopefully will get the wheels on either tomorrow or Tuesday!

Left are OEM right are Moog

Finally had a chance to get the wheels on. I only put on the rears to see how I liked them. I'm not hating them and im not loving them. May end up selling them and look for something else. They do poke in the back a good amount but I'm planning on tucking them under since I have sbc camber arms. What do you guys think, keep em or sell them?

Well I decide to go ahead and buy some d2 Rota wheels which are work meister reps just to see how I like them. At first I wasn't too sure on how they would look, but I am starting to like them. May start looking for a set and also bought the OEM LED taillights and they are shipping so hopefully can get those on as well. I also have the 06-07 wrx sti lip that I need to get on as well. Lots to do in the next few months.

Damn bro. Those wheels are killahz. I tried to return the set I have now for the Aodhan AH03s, but they had shipped them out already.

I’ve always liked that look. The hatch is coming along nicely.

Here we go again, end up switching out the wheels for a set of RPF1 in Gold. Actually really liking it and will probably stick with these for now. I ended up doing some suspension work on the front of my car wanted to replace the dust boot because the old one was cracking and ripped. The good part I got everything back on. The bad part afterwards started hearing some weird sounds. Took it to a shop found out my rotor was warped and then my wheel bearing was bad then they couldn't get my wheel bearing off because the axle was stuck. Apparently everything on the driver side suspension was seized. They could not get it off no matter what they tried. Long story short everything got fixed but dropped a bit of money to get it fixed. yikes

Been contemplating whether or not to sell the car and buy something more practical as I have been wanting to get a NA Miata as my next project.

Well I think it's sign to move in from this car. Walked out to my car like woah what's that black spot on my car and as I walked closer saw that I got hit. It could be a lot worse but boy hit and run gotta love it.

Bummer! I feel your pain. Here's what I walked out to the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving:
Fortunately a paintless dent repair specialist brought it back to 95+% of original contour, with only two minor scratches, for $350 out of pocket. I'm still waiting for the restaurant to review their security camera recordings, to hopefully identify the offending party and seek financial compensation.

Dang that sucks, hopefully the restaurant will have some video of the hit and run. That is much worse than mine. I was able to use some rubbing compound and most of the black paint came off. There are a few scratches here and there and a small crease but its not too bad.
