Hi all,

I'm just looking for advice or if anyone has had this happen. I've got a 2007 Mazda 3 I've owned since new. Always kept it in top notch condition, i do live in a very hot state of Australia, but the car is probably under cover more often than not. I've noticed the paint deteriorating lately on the hood, roof and spoiler, everywhere else is fine. Is this oxidation? Does this need a good buff back or will I need to repaint? (Photos from spoiler and hood. Couldn't get a good photo of roof, but it's just like the hood).

Cheers for any help.

Looks good for a 10 year old car that sits out in the sun. I always wonder how my soul red paint will look after 5-10 years if I keep it. I always just keep it clean and wax more than most.

If I were you I'd give it a good detailing and then wax. I bet it would make it look a lot better!
