Hello All, I hope you can help me... After changing car's battery I can't start the car and I'm getting a flashing car with lock symbol on the dashboard. I have tried reseting the immobiliser but not sure if I did it right, car still not starting. Any suggestions on what can I try and what the problem could be? There's absolutely no sound when I turn the ignition key to start position and the whole dashboard kind of switches off when I do it.

Brand new battery? Might need a quick jump if it got drained during installation somehow...

Maybe a bad ground connection? Can you post a picture of the negative connection to the battery and where that connects to the car?

Did the car makes any sound at all when you try to start it?
