Hello,

I recently got this Mazda 3 2011 sport.

Today I found out the cig lighter is not working and I will start by checking the fuses.

Now where the H is the fuse box in this car?

My old Volkswagen has all the fuses in the drivers side.

I know there is one in the drivers panel (to the left) but according to the manual the fuse box is in the passenger side but WHERE?

Is it under the hood to the right (passenger side) or is it somewhere under the glove box? I'm so confused.

According to this website
autogenius.info/mazda-3-2011-fuse-box-diagram
Apparently I need:

Fuse block (Passenger’s side)
Position Description Fuse rating [A] Protected component
14 CIGAR 15 Lighter

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

fuse in drivers side, problem fixed

So the fuse was actually in the drivers side. Easy replace. Now the cig lighter works!

For anyone looking at this confusing manual.

If you own a 2010+ Mazda, the fuses are in the drivers door. The manual can be confusing and make you go crazy looking for a fuse box in the passenger side!

I followed the diagram of the "passenger side" fuse box in the manual. I think that it just means the fuse box is not under the hood, not that the fuse box is actually in the passenger side.

Confusing or not, problem fixed.
