Well I have never been a big fan of using the term build when modifying a car. I certainly didn't build the car, I just changed it for what suited me better. I will be happy to answer questions about things so please ask. I bought things randomly and installed them when I could. I have probably missed a few things and I will try to add them when I can. There will be plenty of pictures, I probably wont post some of the smaller stuff. Also this is going to take me a while to do so check back as more content will be added.

Trying to be somewhat organized here is the list and I will update it with the page or post number for the details. I will also skip around as some files have pictures others I will need to dig up or take some.
Lastly, my car is normally dirty because I work in the construction industry and dust just gets everywhere.

2015-11-07 -- Factory Roof Rack

I believe my first change was adding the factory Roof Rack.

Here are some pics showing its main purpose. Getting the Christmas Tree.
Spoiler alert future mods shown here.

2016-04-12 Mazda3 Rear Door Shades

I wasn't going to get my windows tinted yet but I wanted the appearance so I got these from Australia.
They are great in the summer but not so great at night. they have a magnetic frame that holds in place pretty well.

2016-04-16 Curt Hitch

I bought this so I could get a bike rack. putting one on the rear seemed easier than putting one on the roof.
Well that never happened but could this summer.

2016-05-03 Corksport Axleback Exhaust

It was time for more sound, and i found a great deal on a pre-owned Axle Back.
It did create a lot of drone mostly because of the roads I drive, but I did like the tone.

2016-07-11 AutoExe Grill Fail

Well I got into a little accident and needed a new grill.
I wanted this one to work but it arrived damaged so I just had a stock one installed.
I still have this BTW, it might be going up on the eBay or just hanging on my garage wall.

First pics are what it would have looked like.

2016-07-24 Minsanity Plate relocate kit Installed

After I got a new stock grill installed, I added this so I didn't have those two holes in the middle of the grill.
And yes, I do have an RX7.com plate frame on the car and yes I have been asked if it had a rotary in it before.

2016-09-06 Corksport Midpipe

Well I again found a good deal on a Pre-Owned part so i installed a Corksport Midpipe.
It really help clear out some of the drone, and well I was very happy after i installed it.
My wife says its too loud and shakes the house in the morning but that's something i can live with.

2016-09-06 Mazda-Eibach Lowering Springs

The time came to get rid of the vast wheel gap and get lower. There were lots of options and opinions. I chose to be different and go with the Euro Eibach springs that Mazda sells (Part Number 4100-77-974). I found a great dealership in the United Kingdom and it was a smooth transaction. The springs offer enough drop that I didn't have to use a spring compressor when installing the fronts. These are a linear spring unlike the US version which is progressive. Future pictures will probably show the drop better.

I should add a picture how how these looked on my currently wheels but here are the drop measurements taken on 04-14-18
Measurements taken with a standard tape measure, Wheels/Tires were 225/45R19
Front Pass: Fender to Hub 13.5" -- Fender to Ground 26.38" -- Fender to Tire 0"
Rear Pass: Fender to Hub 13.75" -- Fender to Ground 27" -- Fender to Tire less than 0.5"

2016-09-17 Windows Tinted

On this day I got my windows Tinted. I don't recall what % because I went past legal and they don't give you a receipt when you do that.
Oregon Law says 35% is max. I think I went with 20-25% I may update this later.

2016-11-5 Corksport Headlight Leveling Kit

After lowering I noticed a change in my head lights, and this did work.
The last file is upside down but you probably get the point.

2016-11-5 Corksport Led Fog Lights

This was a necessary evil. I could not get the fog lights I wanted but needed to get rid of the stock bulbs.
These matched really well in my opinion but really just didn't help with the light output at all.
They now sit in a box somewhere in my garage if anyone wants to purchase them.

2017-03-01 Speedline Strut Bar

After much searching and comparing I chose to go with the Speedline front strut bar. I have always been a fan of single piece bars, ever since Racingbeat was selling them for the FB and FC Rx7's.
They painted it black before shipping it. No real difference was felt by adding it but who cares.

2017-03-15 Miata Rims 17x7

Well here is another purchase that just did not work out. A set of multispoke Miata wheels that are 17x7.
I got a good deal on them, and then had two touched up by a wheel repair service. Car felt alot zippier but also felt like i lost traction.
Tires are Bridgestone Potenzas and i also got a set of Gorilla Lug Nuts.

I should also note that with these I found many more bumper curbs, speed bumps, and dips in the road.

2017-04-06 Orange Virus Tuning

I was thinking about a tune for a while and as soon as Orange Virus announced the handheld units for our cars I was in. (Denso Ecu Only)
I was already only using supreme or 92 octane gas but got 5 tune files and felt really good about my purchase. Real bang for your buck.
My files: 93.6500 -- 93.6800 -- 93.6900 -- 91.6500 -- 89.6500

2017-04-13 Rear Hatch Cargo Rings

I say a different thread about cargo rings and I kind of wanted them and so far have used them once.
The previously mentioned thread had a few terrible options, and I didn't want the plastic ones Mazda sells.
I took the covers off and then searched for some on the Ebay. I came across this set that was for a Lexus.
They are a pretty good fit. Slightly smaller than i would have liked but i have never noticed it besides these pictures.
