Lowered cars ride quality

I've been reading alot about your lowered rides out there. They all look great. My question is did you have to sacrifice anything, like ride quality, does it bottom out? Before I got my Mz3 I drove a lowered Chev Silverado, and here in California bounced all over the roads. I'm especially concerned about ride quality after being lowered.

if your more concerned about the quality of ride before you go lower u may want to check the spring rates, i have megan racing springs and it is number 2 for the best spring rate compared to road magnets, i have a friend with teins and i think the spring rate is rated low so there for its softer and bouncier.
Thanks. So I have to look at higher spring rates then, okay. Does anyone know how HR springs rate?
