Hello all, Im new to the whole forum thing but I figured Id try my luck. I have a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback with the 2.3l engine and a 5 spd manual. Recently my axles have been making all sorts of noise when starting from 1st during a turn. After fixing that I ran into another problem which I'm attributing to my motor mounts being in poor condition so Ive taken it upon myself to bullet proof the whole front end so I don't have to worry about those things again any time soon. Additionally I want to autocross this car at some point but have a lot of work to do before that. The main problem Im having is finding quality or even performance aftermarket parts such as beefier axles, motor mounts, etc. If anyone knows anything about where I can find these parts for non-speed 1st gens it would be much appreciated!

Welcome to racing, there really is no bulletproof solution parts are just going to break. Some will take the abuse better than others though. I would probably start with corksport as a good starting point.

Whats your budget ?

motor mounts at AWR AWR Store
Upgrade stabilzer bar at corksport plus add endlinks
Upgrade to coilovers or better dampeners like Koni or ST add lowering springs
You want to go fast thru those cones - good tires / upgrade brake pads
Add a Strut tower

Sounds like you've been finding those beefier parts for mazdaspeeds? I haven't gone looking yet, but knowing where to find beefier axles would be helpful to me in the future.
