Vehicle: 2004 Mazda S3 Manual Transmission Base model. Not sure what my engine rating is but it's pretty slow so I assume it's the basic one.

I checked the mazda sites and the schematics for the sensor but no dice. I found a site that sells it, but I'd like to know if anyone knows where I can find the part number so I can source this part for cheaper:
On partsgeek, the part number is : 17958-09162474 , but that's not the Mazda OEM one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx.

The S is the 2.3L, the i is the 2.0L model.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it's what I could find from oemautoparz.com.

G564-17-400A is the "speedometer sensor" or the "gear set driven speed sensor" or "vehicle speed sensor" for a manual transmission. $125.
