Hi, so I haven't seen too much here on using this combo.
I put Castrol Edge in at the last oil change and I'm not sure I like the increase in tick noise. My car idles a lot (family appointment ferry) and it's hot here (Florida). Zero consumption though.
I've been thinking for a while now I will use Liqui Moly oil next. I might try their cleaner before the change and then add Cera Tec to the new oil.
Also used a Boss filter this last time, now I'm on the fence about using it again (supposed to be the best) versus using the OEM filter. Some folks seem to think OEM is the only safe choice, even if it's not made in Japan anymore.
Thoughts anyone?
