LED vs CREE LED for Foglights

Hey how's it going y'all? Hope everyone doing well.

I ran into a problem with my fogs. The top of my fog reflector are melted, just a small area. I've had HID in them for prob almost a year. To answer the questions y'all might be wondering, yes it was a aftermarket " OEM STYLE " fog light housing. I've accepted the fact that you get what you pay for.

Right now I wanna prevent further melting of my fog reflectors. Which bulb type would be best that runs the coolest ( temperature)?? HID, LED OR HALOGEN??

Thanks in advance for all y'all help!!!!

so correct if I'm wrong...

Ive done a lot research today and yesterday and found a lot of information about about CREE LED, its suppose to be super bright but also really HOT which I CONCLUDED that its not what I'm looking.

I guess I'm looking for a 9006 LED bulbs that runs COOL but also BRIGHT.

What I am looking at right now are:

If any of y'all using any of these for your FOGS, please let me know how are they, brightness, how hot they get, and light output. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! :)

PIAA | LED Bulbs

I came across this and installed it to one of my cars, by far the best light i've used.. better than HID in my opinion. they're a bit pricey, but well worth the money.

I'm pretty sure they will be cheaper in the future
