I saw this interesting led device on ebay and thought it might solve the problem that the ports and storage space aren't lit at night.

There's this version, which doesn't have a switch, but can be turned off by pulling it partially out. This is the one I got.

I attached a picture of what it looks like in the car. It's quite bright, makes the ports and stored items more visible, and turns off when the car does so there's no risk of draining the battery.

I think it only applies to certain trim models. My 14 GT doesn't have any USB port in that location.

Yeah me too on the '16 GT, but i'm thinking it would be nice to have the center console bin lit up, as i pretty much never use more than one USB slot.

Does the center console bin have a light already? I can't even remember if it does.

Actually i can probably make a few of these myself with some USB cables and LED i have laying aorund

Edit: My issue was the UV LED pointed up when plugged in. I used the adapter to angle it toward the passenger side. Works well but looks a little wanky.
