Hey all, Recently got a Mazda 3 hatch (see intro thread) and it seems to have an aftermarket LED interior/exterior bulb kit installed (I'm assuming, unless it was a dealer option??).

Anyway, one of the exterior license plate bulbs flickers randomly. Seems there is a grouping of 3 bulbs in one socket (or so it looks without investigating further) and the main one flickers on and off. Luckily I don't often see my own rear end so I don't have to worry about it too much, but anytime I'm outside of my car it bugs the heck out of me.

Is this an indication of a bulb going bad, or do I just need to check connections? All interior LEDS and the other license plate LED is perfectly fine.

Most likely just the bulb is dying / poor connection. I would try to adjust the positive / negative arms, and if not, just buy it on ebay. It shouldn't be more than 2 bucks for 2.
