I bought a 2017 Sport 3 hatchback and opted to have the dark alloy OEM 16" wheels installed.
I have an extra set of the light gray OEM 16" rims now.

Besides having them on hand in case I really mess up one or more of the dark alloy rims I can't think of any good reasons to keep the wheels.
I live in the south east and don't plan to run winter tires.

Would anyone have any suggestions as to why I should keep the extra set of rims that would be beneficial?

If not does anyone have a suggested price that I should sell the extra set of wheels for? They were driven for 7 days after the car purchase and before the dark alloy rims where installed.

If me and I did not need winter wheels/tires, I would sell them, ask for $395 (local pick up or would "meet within reasonable distance"), with current "sold" pricing for 16's somewhere around $300/set. Seeing folks having a challenge even selling their 18's for $400/set for local pick up. Not that they are not worth more, but the combo of having the specific set someone wants, their needing those wheels at that time, and the very significant shipping costs, especially for "double boxing" them -- the only way I would buy a set, make it hard to sell wheels without getting lucky, e.g., the right buyer at the right time.

I agree with Road trip, good luck selling them, I don't think I would even get $400 for my set of 18's

I'm a buyer on a set of stock 18's but yeah after shipping its just not worth it. Hopefully thre will be someone in the New England area that has a set of stockers for sale with tires preferably

And since we can not get a decent price for even our OEM 18's unless we get super lucky and the right buyer who lives near to us (local pick up or local meeting place), these are the reasons why I am taking my silver, stock, 2017, 18's and having them powder coated "black chrome" (then clear coated), by the best powder coated in the state for $350/set.

They will then have the hardest protective covering, look great and be my winter's. I will defintely post pictures when that is done.
