Is anyone else having issues with the XM Radio band with the new Mazda Connect system in the 2021 Mazda3’s? It seems with the XM band, you can’t scroll through favorites with the steering wheel radio controls like you can with the FM radio band or in previous versions of this system in older Mazda’s. Pushing the forward or back buttons on the steering wheel just seems to control the live mode for that particular channel. To change the XM channel, you have to use the console controller, which is a pain.

Curious what others are seeing. Thanks in advance.

That is how it works in normal operation.

Found it easiest to program all XM channels I would probably listen to as Favorites. Click "music" button, then scroll with main controller.

I would DEFINITELY prefer to be able to use the previous/next buttons, but Mazda prioritized "Rewind" (which is ridiculous).

Thank you! That was what I was afraid of. Like you said, it’s a big miss in my opinion. I’d much rather have the ability to scroll versus use the live function. At least make the seek button configurable like some other systems.
