iOS 13 Apple Carplay with Mazda Connect

I was able to get my hands on the iOS 13 beta and I was able to try out carplay. When Apple showed it off, I was wondering how it would look and how would you control it using the Mazda Connect control knob.

I made a short video in my 2016 CX-5 that goes into it a little bit. I like it so far, there is just one annoying thing about it. You can hit Home to go between the old layout and the split screen layout. If you have something highlighted in the old layout and you go to the split screen view and try to move the knob, it will go back to the thing you had highlighted.

But here is the video and let me know if anyone has questions about it.

Hi! I was trying to update my CMU to the latest firmware (cmu150_ADR_70..00.335C) in preparation for Apple Carplay installation, I was able to update from cmu150_ADR_59.00.502A to cmu150_ADR_70.00.021A to cmu150_ADR_70.00.100A without any problem, but installing cmu150_ADR_70..00.335C wont push through, btw before there are 2 files the failsafe.up and the reinstall.up, it was changed to cmu150_ADR_70..00.335Cupdate.up file only, maybe this update.up file is the culprit. Can I install Apple CarPlay retrofit kit on 70.00.100A?
Yes, you can install Apple CarPlay retrofit kit on 70.00.100A. Please check if the checksums/hashes of your 70.00.335-*.up file match the ones mentioned here in this folder - use the checksum utility for this check. Perhaps you have to download .335 again, because it was not downloaded correctly (then the checksums/hashes do not match). You could have updated directly from FW 59 to FW 70.00.335. There is no need to update to each version in between.
