I just replaced mine. Grabbed a $20 one from Ebay and it went pretty smooth.
Honestly the hardest part was separating the screen from the final metal bracket; it's fit in there like one of those 3d puzzles you can buy at cracker barrel.
The old digitizer took some work to separate from the frame. It's more difficult because the frame is just thin plastic so you can't just go to town with force or indiscriminate razor blades lest you damage the frame. Ditto for scraping off the old adhesive but take your time because you want it clean for a good seal.
Overall taking it apart took me nearly 40 minutes but applying the new glass/digitizer and putting it back together was like 5. Highly recommend, the screen looks brand new.
If you haven't pulled out the CMU before do yourself a favor and make sure you have at least a 3" socket extender before you start, as you'll need it to reach the 10 mm bolt that holds in the CMU. If you're clumsy like me also have magnetic snake to retrieve the bolt when you (by which I mean I) inevitably drop it.
