Hello everyone.. i've been trying to search for the solution to this issue. My infotainment keeps shutting off after about 2 mins. With it goes the radio and even the Active Display. It only goes back on when I turn the car off and on again. Should I just replace the unit?

My car is a Mazda3 2014 skyactiv sedan

Reinstall the same firmware first. Or even update it. Might be a glitch in the matrix.

Also try disconnecting the battery for a while. That solves a lot of stuff in these cars.

My firmware is 28... I've tried to install the new version but I can't finish it because it keeps shutting down

Mine kept shutting off and turning on. But only when it was cold. I took it into the dealership and they did an update and updated my maps as well cost me $35. It has not shut off since (been 2 months)

What version are you trying? Given you are on 28, you need to go to either 30 or 31 (can't remember) then you can go higher from there.
