I forget what the dealship calls it. But it has to deal with the cleaning of the injectors or something because bad gas causes build up or something?

If I use Shell Premium does that mean I need to spend all the money on this cleaning?

Used any kind of regular in my 2014 sGT for 3.5 years without an issue.

If you are using name brand fuel you should have no worries. But if it makes you feel better, run a bottle of Chevron Techron Concentrate (the black bottle stuff) in your tank once or twice a year. Take the other $110 you saved by doing it yourself and enjoy an evening out!

If you can, try to run Top Tier gasoline. Just google Top Tier and you'll get a list of gas stations that qualify. Ran my last car to 240k miles using Top Tier unless I just couldn't find it on a road trip. (That maybe happened enough times to be counted on my fingers over 12 years.) I never had any fuel related problems.

What others said about using name brand gas to begin with. I use Gas Buddy and ALWAYS find cheap gas with good busy gas stations that get new fuel constantly.

I personally use Redline Fuel System cleaner in mine. I do small 1/4 bottle maintenance doses every few fill ups to keep the injectors clean (although I'm sure most of the top tier gas I use already does that)

The only cleaning that the car can benefit from is cleaning the throttle body if you have build up. That will instantly help the engine idle smoother. Other then that, a PCV valve replacement is all that "may" be needed at that mileage. I personally wouldn't touch a thing until like 100k.
