Mazda 3 2015, weird air conditioning behavior.

When I set airflow mode to dashboard only I get air blowing from dashboard + floor.
When I set airflow mode to dashboard + floor I get air blowing from dashboard only.

Any idea what would be the problem? Sorry if this sounds so vague but I'm totally surprised how this is happening.

Sounds like a software issue. Ask a dealer you trust to reflash.
