So did anybody ever find the fix for the issue where the car thinks that the key is in the ignition but it isn't? All I can find online is to take it to the dealer for a warranty fix or that it's in a "pin in the ignition". I know there is a TSB about it but as anybody ever performed this with success? The ignition switch is $28-48 on rockauto but I didn't know if that ACTUALLY worked.
