Just bought a 2007 MazdaSpeed 3. It has a Corksport Power Series Intake System which doesn't have an EO CARB Number. I don't have the OEM Intake. How do I pass SMOG in California? Live in SF Bay Area, thanks for your help.

Honestly you don't. I live in the north bay. Had a 240 that I had all kinds of modified. Smog days I had to replace everything back to stock. They are hard core on carb crap.
There are counties in cali that are smog exempt for some strange reason. If you get registered in one of those areas you dont have to smog. Ever.

Wouldn't want to subvert any nanny state laws, but I saw this: "Our (Corksport) 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3 SRI will now be CARB certified. we can’t legally send you a sticker to put on your intake, but when you go in to the smog check station, they will look up our intake and verify that you have the same intake system on your vehicle."
Could I get away this, looks very similar to mine? Can the smog inspector tell the difference (no visible part numbers)?

Here's the article CARB certified Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6 Intake | CorkSport Mazda Performance Blog
