I'm coming up on a wheel decision in the next month or so but before that I want to make sure I have a way to part with the oem 16 inch alloys. The stock tires will still be on it around 11k. Craigslist or Ebay I guess, but since this is the mazda forum I was wondering if anyone had options that worked.

I had purchased OEM 16s via Kijiji (similar to Craigslist, but more popular in Canada). I bought them to put snow tires on, so that's another reason folks might be looking (depending on your geography)

I think Craigslist is the best way to go. Wheels are such a hassle and expense to ship. I had to wait a bit to sell mine and they sold for cheaper than I would've hoped, but not having to ship them and just have them picked up was worth it.

Yeah the market is typically for people looking for "winter tires". However I do know some people that are convinced going from the larger 18s down to a 16 is better performance.

FYI, there are some sites that buy OEM wheels, just not sure what they offer. You could also check into local Wheel repair places. Maybe they will take them off your hands for future customers.
