Removing that transmission drain require some prying. The liquid seal gaskets are almost like glue.
Plastic prying tools required.
Permatex gasket remover spray
Permatex gasket Blue
Scrape with plastic scraper/scrubber pad

Fram aftermarket filters come with cork gaskets, which may be easier (less mess)
(Cork filters could leak in the long term)

Thanks, bookmarked this for future use.

I know some like to argue follow the manual but unless someone is going to warranty me for life I am not following any lifetime recommendations. And if you know someone who will warranty my trans for life, please do let me know Id be happy to sign up.
