Touch screen not responsive in parts of display

Hello friends,

I just got another 3, a white 2015.
I came from a rental company and the system version is 33.00.500
I enter the test screen no problem but hitting DEL for 20+ seconds does nothing and i cant enter code 99 for update.
some numbers can be pressed and others cant.

Is there any way to unlock this and enable the above?

My other Mazda 3 will update and enter these modes no problem..

Changed the Title..
seems that the touch is responsive only at the outer perimeter of the display..
If you touch the middle or slightly left or right from the middle no response.
Touch anything on the left or right top or bottom of the display and the screen responds.
Is this a calibration issue?
Is the any way to calibrate the display?
Hard reset didn't do it

(Did mange to upgrade using the toggle knob)
