Hello All,

Its wierd how I found this forum I googled a question about my mytouch and bluetooth and the first thing to pop up had Mazda and the same question in the results ! Must be fate I thought I own a 2010 mazda!! Any way I'm excited to have a new place to research questions that I might have about Penny (my car). Yes Im a girl and I named my car! Also if there is anyone in the area that is not a creeper and can help with any other car related things give me a shout out!

Wanna plan it for a weekend when there is a race there? Could camp for a night or for the whole weekend? We should round up all the folks around the midwest... probably make a thread post in both the Great Lakes Region and North Central groups... one just to link back to the other...?

EDIT: or are there times when we can go and drive the track with our cars? Is that more what you were looking for?

I bought it last summer!Middle of June. Im really a ford girl hence the Sally name but after my db ex left me for some under age tramp with baby mama drama I wanted to get rid of my fusion and get a car that I love. My ex is a ford mechanic in town, so I wanted something somewhat ford related and nothing he could touch!!! I really wanted themazdaspeed3 but the 2010's werent out yet, also my driving record wouldnt warrant the insurance. Any how Im super happy with the 2.5 I would love to Mod my car but not sure where to start. Im for sure getting the windows tinted and black rims but after that ?????

What types of mods are you looking for? Horsepower/torque for performance, or are you looking for suspension mods for auto-x racing, or are you looking for visual/appearance looks?

Yeah, I considered the speed as well... I have nothing on my driving record and the insurance quotes I got were too much to stomach. I also am not a fan of the speed's red/black interior with partial leather seats... plus I love sunroofs and the adaptive headlights on my GT are phenomenal!

Well, for looks a lot of people are swapping out the HIDs to something brighter or a different color, change the badges to another color, or remove them, or swap out to an Axela badge, paint your calipers, add decal(s), swap out LEDs on the interior. Performance wise the SRI from CorkSport is really awesome and very, very easy to install. Check the other sections, people are very willing to help and offer information especially if you have an idea!

To be honest, I'm still somewhat of a Mazda newb... I just know that in Japan, the Mazda 3 is called the Mazda Axela.

To be honest, I'm still somewhat of a Mazda newb... I just know that in Japan, the Mazda 3 is called the Mazda Axela.

Axela is the Japanese name for the 3! You can add the Axela badge to the right side of the car where is it blank for the 2.0 i models or replace the 2.5 on the s model. I've also seen people replace the entire "Mazda 3" on the left side with the Axela badge. One thing that you need to do is remove just the "3" because it is a faux pas to have the 3 and Axela on the car!

Mine is a 6spd 5door, if your asking me! Today I added Hot Pink stiching to my seats! It looks sweet tomorrow the car is getting detailed so I will take and post pics when she clean!!!
