I bought my Mazda 3 hatchback a few months ago with a bad motor, swapped it for the 2.5L Duratec like the recommendations said. So far, it is running great. It'll be my daily for a long time. I'm still debating on performance mods, I haven't seen a lot of them around the internet, but still something I'm going to look into. Anyways nice to meet you all.
