Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum as I am considering purchasing a 2014+ Mazda3. I've been using this forum to see your ideas and other potential maintenance issues.

Anything you guys would suggest as I approach the dealer/CPO? Any specific options that are must have?
Thanks, CS

Welcome. Are you looking for a fun, "driver's car?" If so, a Mazda 3 is a great one, considered best in class by most of the automotive media.

Unless you need a car real soon, perhaps you may wish to do what I did, was to spend lots of time on this forum for just over two months before deciding which options I wanted, which ones I did not, starting with the two biggies (IMO), e.g., auto or manual transmission, and sedan or hatchback.

Here are a few media videos I liked, not that they will help you choose your specific options, but help you decide whether a Mazda 3 is for you.

Best of luck, and if you have questions, lots of smart, helpful and friendly folks here on M3R!

Thanks for the advice Road Trip. I will continue to look around to help me decide on what I want/need. Definitely going to be going with the Mazda3. I also have to determine which model year would be best. Good to be a part of it, and looking forward to owning a good car like the Mazda3. -CS
