New to the site obviously lol. I have a built SRT-4 right now but I am needing something bigger as my family is getting bigger and the MAZDASPEED seems to be where I am leaning. My wife cannot drive a stick though but I want something turboed. Please give my your honest opinion about the car and engine. Also thinking possibly going to the 2.5 automatic so she can drive it. Just do not want to . Any help and advise is greatly appreciated. I am ready to buy immediately just want to do my research.

I tried to on my srt but i have a stage 2 clutch so stiff. She did good with it but scared in traffic lol. I have a brand new HKS bov that I did not put on my srt. Can I buy a flange to make it bolt on?

' I'm not sure about the bov but the speed 3 can only run full recirculation unless tuning but it still isn't good for the motor

the speed 3 clutch is not a real good clutch to learn on. there is not much let out on it before the clutch is engaged. But go take one for a test drive and see what you think.

Welcome to the forum! The Speed3 is a great car, but I personally would not want someone to "learn" how to drive a manual transmission on my brand new car. You also said she cannot drive a stick which would make me think she has tried and doesnt enjoy it or just doesnt get it. Tough call, but I would buy what I want since I am paying for it. :walkman:
