Hello,

I think there is something wrong with my 2016 Mazda3. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue. If I have the blower on high and heat you can hear the blower temporarily slow down if I flip on the bright head lights. Is the alternator not providing enough power? Could there be some other issue? Does this happen to other people? I recently had the battery replaced by the dealer because I had to jump it several times. Car has about 17,000 miles on it. Thanks.

Its entirely possible that the alternator is not working properly. Its also possible that there is a bad ground. Have the system checked, check the connections made by whoever installed the battery, and make sure the battery is the right one for the car. What you describe is not normal by any means.
