Just hauled 2 new toilets and a pile of odds and ends from the home depot. Could probably have fit a third if I had the need. Not too bad for a small car. This is why I like hatchbacks

I find the OEM rear cargo liner an outstanding option. It fits easily onto the rear of the back seats, so when they fold down, it covers them (as it protects their backs when the seats are in a vertical postion). This one-piece liner also covers the floor of the “trunk” area on a hatch.
It is made of something I can best describe as a plasticized canvas — very sturdy and exceptionally easy to clean with a damp cloth.
Perfect for protecting our car from tools, even our big Shepherd’s claws.
