Is the GS taillight the same as the GT taillight except missing the LED components? It almost looks like internally, the GS taillight has the required plastic structure to produce that slanted LED look. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same, any thoughts?

AFAIK you need to swap out the connectors for the plug into the taillight also. And there's an extra connector for the trunk halves.
