The 2017 Mazda 3 GT is squarely in my sights for somewhere towards the end of 2017. I'm here trying to find reasons why I might not want one. I've already been out in one for a very short test drive and was really impressed. I've read up a good bit on the 2017 and know some of the complaints....road noise, small size, road noise...yadda yadda but I want a small drivers car with good reliability and it seems the 3 has that pegged pretty good.
I've had my 2017 Mazda3 GT for nearly a couple of weeks now. It was love at first sight, and every day reinforces that this is probably the best car I ever had.
It's a road car. It's an urban car. It's an economy car. It's a sports car. It's a luxury car. It's a station wagon. It's built like a Swiss watch, and styled better than an Italian espresso maker. The seats are ridiculously comfortable, and it's loaded with amenities at a great price point.
And guess what – no excess road noise for 2017!
Coming home tonight, I opened the sunroof and cracked the rear windows just enough to get some great flow-through, put the seat heaters on low, located some tunes for the Bose, and switched into Sport mode. Pure bliss!
First thing I noticed when I sat down was how ridiculously comfortable the seats were. I really could not believe how good they felt. I've recently been in a golf SE, Audi A3 and we just bought my wife a pre owned Mercedes C250 and I'd prefer the 3's seats. I did not notice road noise but my test drive was really short due to crazy traffic at time.
thanks everyone
2017 has more insulation plus a lot of the road noise was due to the Dunlop tires. Had my 3 for 3 years now and still love the sh#t out of it. Only wish was that it had memory seats as I am 6'3'' and my wife is 5'2''.:grin2:
