GRACENOTE Music UPDATE to Version 12

I tried updating. Let the update run for about 35 minutes. After about 15 minutes the progress bar showed over 4/5ths complete, but then it just sat there like that for the next 20 minutes and never completed. I had to shut the car off then. I went back to try it again. Now there is no database version showing for the current version, but I can still run the update. Again after about 15 minutes it gets to over 4/5ths complete and doesn't progress any further. Do I need to just wait longer, or is there something else I can do?

bjamin just be patient with it. Mine sat at that same spot for a good 20+ minutes. In total the update took around 40+ minutes for me!

Don't forget to open and close the door or press the clutch pedal every 20 minutes or so to prevent the car from turning itself off.

Thanks for that. I let it run longer this time. It took about 50 minutes, but it finally completed.

Does this update work with 59.00.502 firmware with AIO tweaks (Android Auto,...) installed?

Is Gracenote model specific? Will it work on Connect on Mazda 2 (2018) as well as Mazda 3?

No, it is not. It will work in every model (like the firmware) with the same MZD (MZD 1).

I managed to the version 70.00.100A installed. guys, the cable changing in models from 2019 is necessary? Apparently I need to remove the screen out?

Not sure this is the right thread. This one is about the music Database. It sounds like you are asking about updating firmware and using tweaks.
