I just installed the hub on my 2015 Mazda 3 successfully. However, could not connect my galaxy ultra S22. The AA option is greyed out in the app and the phone's android auto instructed me to connect to the usb, although the phone is already connected. The hub is from amazon, not OEM, with good reviews. Any advice on how to troubleshoot. Thanks

I got another hub and successfully connected to android auto, though the option for AA is still greyed out in the car app menu. However, I do not have touch screen functionality. Is this a hub or firmware issue? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

@adkatnani : Official AA does not have touch at Mazda. Mazda blocked touch for AA. So it works as designed.
CarlinKit 4.0 do have touch screen capability.

The unit I have claims functionality but for models 2019+. my car is 2015 Mazda 3 touring, with the latest firmware 74xxx and a generic hub. Could you please verify if the carlinkit will work. thanks

In addition to knowing if CarlinKit 4.0 works or not, it would be great if someone with one could chime in on how reliable it is over time. Reviews seem to be all over the place, with some folks saying it works perfectly all the time and others reporting intermittent issues with the adapter.

Hi,

did you check and read the shopping-link from user "rfr78"? I the description is a link (copy and paste only) to a download-server. I dont know what version is ready for download, maybe 74... or the older 70.00. give it a try to download the EU-version.

Hello

Is wire and wireless CarPlay use same USB module?
I already has wire CarPlay with MZD firmware 70.00.100.
If I want to use wireless CarPlay, I only need update firmware or I also need to replace new USB module?

For official Mazda wireless CarPlay you need a new CMU - which costs above 1500 € (or USD) - and I asume that it requires the new usb hub for wired carplay, which you already have.

For inofficial wireless CarPlay you need to have FW 70.00.021 or higher (which you have) installed prior to the hardware-installation of the new usb hub with included wireless carplay - example (select wireless via color selection): https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005001813315761.html (the new cables of your already installed wired carplay usb hub can be used, no need to change the 2 wires again).

Via firmware update only you can not activate wireless CarPlay.

No! For official Mazda wireless CarPlay need only new CMU (not display). I bought it for $100 ))
