He's using calculus to explain it, but he draws some interesting points.
I believe the Mazda already utilizes a 60/40 F/R split, to keep more power at the front wheels. There's more weight with the 2.5L engine in there too.
Wider front tires does help.. I can attest to that, but I wonder what setup is ideal for improving launch without sacrificing too much on these cars?
Lowering springs for lower center of gravity. ✔
Maybe go with firmer springs?
Any other ideas 💡?
Launch control device with a quick release to get going faster? Partially engage 1st and use your brakes to hold you in place? Brainstorming..
