I am sure there are others here on the forum who have gotten the notifications for the recall regarding the windshield wipers malfunctioning due to overheating of a component I believe was stated to be inside the forward BCM. I am more familiar with older Hondas (back when there was ONE ECU under the kick panel that controlled all the necessities). So my question: is the forward BCM the computer which contains all the motor function controls including my OV tune and if so, will I lose the ability to re-flash the ECU if my Mazda Edit software reads the new BCM instead of the original that is registered to it?

Thank you for any help in advance!
