I was curious if anyone has any experience with these parts.
Forge BPV | Stock Location Recirculation Valve
HKS BOV | Blow Off Valve Kit

I'm looking to buy an aftermarket BOV/BPV but I can not decide between these 2, and have not been able to find a significant difference besides price.

Can anyone tell me what one has the better performance gains and if the HKS is really worth more then double the price of the Forge?

Thank you.

I bought a used Forge BPV Vers1 for $100 and it holds boost great. I use the blue spring and 2 shims. It makes the ninja sword clashing noise that everyone describes as I let off the gas, but I like to think if it as Mario collecting coins on his way to an extra life. Go Mario get that 1-up! The stock BPV is fine for up to 20lbs boost from what I understand. I don't have any complaints about the Forge, but I'd have just left the OEM one on since I'm running at 17lbs boost or picked up the Forge Version 2 that doesn't make the noise.

I have a friend here says the HKS is creating boost spikes with his plus its on full VTA which is bad for the car you want either Full Recirculation or Hybrid. Go for Forge
