Hey All,

I've been trawling the forum for the past hour trying to find if anyone else has experienced this problem. The screen in Mazda 3 Sport Nav latest model with electronic brake has started to flicker. I've only just got it and updated the maps on the SD card via the toolbox and checked to see if gracenote needed updating.

Ive tried doing a factory reset, that hasnt seemd to resolve the problem.

By the looks of it, its on the latest firmware .502 EU

There are a couple of videos on youtube showing others having this problem, so i know i'm not alone with this

Any suggestions on why its doing this and what i could do to stop it?

Many thanks

Hi,

I was wondering if you ever managed to get to the bottom of this, as I'm having a similar problem with my Mazda 3 Sport Nav (2014 model). The Nav screen will flicker intermittently. It won't do it for weeks, then will start again, only a reboot seems to stop it (hold down back, nav & mute for 10 seconds) and it only affects the Nav screen. Mine has 1 month left on it's warranty, so I'm trying to decide if it's a software issue or failing hardware.

Many Thanks.
