Hi guys

I am new to the whole modding scene and I recently added a few humble items (nothing big) to my Mazda 3 - would just like some feedback. I wanted to go for a subtle and understated look. Did not want to lower car yet because the roads are pretty rough where I live.

Current mods:

(1) König Swurve wheels
(2) 25 % Tinting (legal limit in Australia)
(3) Customized Lip Kit for front, back and side skirts
(4) New Philips Blue Vision (only legal option in Australia as opposed to aftermarket HID xenons)

Mods Currently working on

(1) Side Sport Vents
(2) Eyelids

Comments appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think carbon fibre vinyl looks better in person than in photographs for some reason. Might be due to light reflection.

I am thinking of painting my calipers but not sure what color to go for. Red has been done quite a bit. Any suggestions welcome.

It's a cold winter here in Melbourne so hopefully when the weather clears up I will have more photos to post.

Thanks for the positive comments guys!

The suspension is great. Comfortable ride and stiff around the corners. Love how it handles and goes well with the performance upgrades I've added (i.e. intake + exhaust)

On an unrelated note, I am thinking about wrapping the car with a matt colour wrap but I know I'll miss the shiny paint finish.

Here is an additional pic.

Thanks guys! I've re-painted the front-lip since so that it maintains a clean matt finish.

Looks awesome! What was your preference to automatic over manual?
I chose an automatic because I share this ride with my wife who prefers the auto variant. My next car will be a manual...cant wait. ;)

Here is the car with the re-painted lip. Can't tell much of a difference unless you see it in person.

and....this is how it sits on my level driveway with suspension maxed out.

Also...quick question, has anyone here used plasti-dip on a silver 3? Are you happy with how it looks? Thinking of blacking out all the emblems.

Damn women:argh 1:. I will have to teach whoever I'm with to drive stick.
Haha...good luck with that! I've tried teaching my wife how to drive with stick and it has been a challenge so far. lol

I got mine stock from the dealership. There are quite a few (unpainted) floating around ebay.

Also if you have rear flares installed (if you own a hatch), then the rear lip kit will not fit.

Or u do what I did and date a girl who already owns a stick

No rear flares on my car or mudflaps. I gotta hit the dealership soon so ill talk to them about alot of parts
