Is there a way to reprogram TAU to European frequencies? Or is it a secret?

It's possible but where would you get the data for programming? also you would need to remove and add tiny SMD resistors, people who are done it haven't share that information.
In my opinion it's easier to obtain and replace it with the added benefit to have DAB by installing an aerial dipole.
